The Liveability project has produced a series of key resources designed to help city officials, practitioners, and communities revitalise urban environments and strengthen local resilience.

Whether you’re seeking guiding principles, practical methods, or inspiration from real-world examples, the resources below offer a solid foundation for action.

At the heart of our approach is Public Interest Design (PID) — a socially responsible, community-centred design method that helps address challenges such as inequality, sustainability, and urban liveability. PID forms the basis of our Liveability Design Approach.

The Liveability Design Approach is a capacity-building programme composed of three interconnected components that have been developed, piloted, and shared among partner cities:
